About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to support our team and customers maintaining all financial records to the highest quality standards and delivering services on time and with accuracy.


Duties include:
Working With MYOB Software
Maintaining the billing system
Generating invoices and account statements
Maintaining accounts receivable / payable files and records
Producing monthly financial and management reports
Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
Assisting in general financial management and analysis
Verify and accurately post all payments to the correct invoice/s
Reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger, bank accounts etc
Support the month end process
Report on aged receivables plus other ad hoc reporting where applicable

Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in an similar role
Formal Qualification in Accounting/Finance
Must have previous experience with MYOB accounting software
Experience in Stakeholder Management
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Accounting and Inventory Management skills
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Analytical skills
Proven track record in providing robust and insightful financial analysis to support business decisions
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Capability to multitask and work under pressure
Excellent computer skills (Salesforce experience is desired)
