Profile Description

I have been an Architectural Associate for three years at the University of the Philippines Mindanao and helped design and build the Davao City - University of the Philippines Sports Complex and other University Buildings ranging from residential to scientific/laboratory research buildings. My position required technical, management, and research skills to help the Campus Architect in enforcing the Campus Master Development Plan with its Design Principles and Guidelines. I was also employed as an Architect/Quality Assurance in a small outsourcing firm based in Davao City, Philippines catering to different clients in the United States of America and Australia.
I am skilled in Computer-Aided Design Drafting using AutoCad, Computer-Aided 3D modeling, and Rendering using Sketchup, Vray, and Photoshop. I also have a good background in redlining/quality assurance of drafted works if given a complete set of standards to follow using BlueBeam Revu to redline printed building plans. I was trained to handle project scheduling, take-off, and estimates for different types of projects. I was also able to handle project conception, design, bidding, construction, and turnover, alone or within a team of designers.
I can confidently use MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint to deliver the presentations, reports, research, and articles or write-ups for presentations to different contractors, clients, and stakeholders. These skills also apply to project management which requires administrative and technical skillset to complete tasks in the least amount of time with the least cost possible.
My experience as an Architectural Associate for three years of the Campus Planning and Development Office of UP Mindanao molded me to become flexible with tasks and adaptive to any job given to me in and out of the construction industry, ranging from being an administrative assistant to a designer. After becoming a licensed Filipino Architect, the short time I spent as a quality assurance/'redliner' gave me a small background in the New York Building Code, other ICC standards, and basic knowledge in Revit and other Autodesk Programs, which enabled me to help my colleagues/'draftsman-designers' produce properly presented plans to our US client.
In any case, if the employer requires me to learn specific programs for a job I can assure you that I would be able to learn this as fast as possible. I would also be glad to learn it myself like most of the technical programs I use. I am a person with high initiative and require minimum supervision once I have been trained enough and have learned the ropes.
