I am currently a General Ledger Bookkeeper and Branch Operations Supervisor at a private bank in Baguio City. My main responsibilities involve assisting in the creation of the company's financial statement and supervising the departments within the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
Despite having less than one year of experience I have a great deal of involvement in the accounting process of my current employment. My aptitude for learning and adaptability has enabled me to quickly grasp the duties and responsibilities assigned. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power point and I value efficiency, organization, confidentiality and honesty.
As a fresh graduate of one year I am highly motivated to learn from the tasks
assigned to me. My current responsibilities involve:
-creating journal entries coordinating with the head office
-checking of journal entries created by the cash and loans department
-balancing of the branch's financial statement
-bank reconciliation and monitoring of cash in bank
-monitoring of Accounts Receivable's and Accounts Payable's
-preparation of monthly reports of the accounting department
-preparation of BIR requirements
-checking department reports, vouchers and checks for approval
-daily compilation, organization and filing of accounting reports and their corresponding attachments (deposit/withdrawal slips, cash vouchers, manager's checks, receipts, etc.)
