Profile Description

As a Community-Based Physiotherapist:

• Perform initial evaluations on incoming patients / clients that are referred within Davao Jubilee Foundation, Inc.
• Evaluate and give out gait analysis for patients / clients who uses assistive devices, prosthesis and orthosis.
• Designing Davao Jubilee Foundation’s facebook page, letterhead and business card templates.
• Provide evidence based treatment plan for outpatient pediatric and geriatric cases and giving proper instruction for the parents / caregivers through home exercise programs and appropriate patient education.
• Attend private and government seminars or workshops in and out of Davao City on current physiotherapy trends and community-based social interventions.
• Servicing in medical mission across the whole of Davao region for cases with physical disabilities and eye and ear impairments.
• Travelling to several areas in Mindanao region affected by armed conflict such as: Marawi, Cotabato and Maguindanao, and to give provisions on customized wheelchairs, prosthesis, orthosis and low grade spectacles for the internally displaced persons who suffer from physical disabilities with the help and support of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Liliane Foundation, Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission, Foundation Suisse de Deminage, Action Against Hunger, Nonviolent Peace Force, Community and Family Services International and etc.
• Referring underprivileged cases that are in need of spectacles, hearing aids, prosthesis, orthosis, customized wheelchairs and orthopedic surgery to Davao Jubilee Foundation’s respective partners such as TebowCure Hospital, Seeds of Dignity Ministries and etc.

As a Gait Training Physiotherapist:

• Assess patients who are in need of prosthesis, orthosis and/or assistive devices that their cases require.
• Train patients in proper ambulation with their device and proper wound, stump and device care.
• Discharge patients who can ambulate safely and independently with their device.
• Document and file the patient charts every day after treatment sessions.
• Follow-up cases for device replacement and/or repair.
• Referral to different health department for cases in need of different services.


As a Center Based Tutor:


• Teach the English language to Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Brazilian
students through the use of Skype.
• Explain the rules of the English grammar, usage of the English vocabulary
and proper English pronunciation through guided classes.
• Assess the students’ English writing skills in preparation for their
national English proficiency exam in Japan.
• Perform English classes to Japanese toddlers.
• Give out TOELF, TOEIC and IELTS review materials to foreign students and
tutoring them.
