I have been working as an Executive/Personal Assistant that focuses on Social Media and Email Marketing since 2018 to help me finance my academic journey while I was studying my senior year in high school. During that time, I was responsible for completing all administrative tasks that my client assigned me, such as researching, organizing payrolls, establishing databases, systems, and processes, managing, and implementing them with other members of the team, checking if everything is working properly, etc. Also, I used to respond to customer inquiries by writing them emails and responding via our social media sites. My expertise also extends to creating email newsletters, webpages, and landing pages. While working as an Executive/Personal Assistant, I have served as the client's right hand and been the operations head.
After years of experiences, the pandemic prompted me to upgrade my skills and pursue a career in Human Resources and Recruitment since I am taking up a Bachelor of Science in Psychology - Master of Arts in Psychology program in one of the top universities here in the Philippines. The major reason I chose the human organization path is because I believe that it will help me practice and utilize my specialty after I graduate.
After a year in university, there were several doors opened that are related to human resources and that is when I stepped in to try and work in the said industry. I humbly admit that working there boosted my morale as I have been a vital addition to my previous roles... I once worked as a Human Resources Manager for a company with more than 250 virtual assistants. My main responsibility was to facilitate VA onboarding, communication with clients, and maintain our culture. I also managed the timekeeping, including attendance, absences, and leaves of our VAs, as well as calculating and releasing their earnings. I also helped the company to develop policies that will benefit both parties to ensure that every contractor's rights will be upheld to help them stay with our company. Additionally, I assisted with recruiting by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. Besides sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews, I was also responsible for facilitating offers and employment negotiations, as well as ensuring that candidates have an enjoyable experience.
