I studied Accounting and am an undergraduate in Accounting Technology. I am a fast learner and have a passion for helping people. I worked in the BPO industry for four years with experience in customer service, medical claims, and e-commerce.
I started my career as a market research interviewer. I reached out to US citizens to get their political opinions and possible stand during the Elections. Record their answers/opinions verbatim. Ensure accuracy to prevent bias and guarantee truthfulness.
After, I worked as a Customer Service Representative in the BPO industry, handling a US-based telecommunication account. I managed inbound calls by assisting customers' account/billing inquiries and basic troubleshooting. Then I was hired as an Account Associate for a rideshare company. I provided technical support through phone and email to their drivers and passengers.
After, I get to work as a Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialist with a Collections Agency. I handled multiple accounts. My main task is to update those accounts, and look for information in the database through the corresponding documents, e.g., Explanation of Benefits, Medical Records, and Itemized bills. The goal is to take the information in order to settle a patient's hospital outstanding bill. I reached out to insurance adjusters and lawyers if the information is not on the system.
I also worked with an e-commerce company. Provided customer support through email and chat, sometimes on a call. Assisted customers to fulfill their orders. Cross-checks data from documents/prescriptions to system-Magento and/or spreadsheet.
I am good with figures and have confidence in communicating with customers and/or professionals. I am goal driven and keen on detail. I get a task done in an organized manner and I am willing to learn new things.
Recently, I worked with a Personal Injury Firm in the US where I manage cases, such as setting up a file, drafting letters, requesting records, and following up on these requests and/or verifying bills.
