On the Job Training at Sunstar Cebu for 2 months ( finance Department ) i was assigned to collect, arranged, and segregate all the paid receipts of all the clients to the collector.
On the Job Training at Different Hospitals affiliated in our School for 3 years. i worked as a student nurse. and i tried simple procedures like skin testing, and catherization. ive been assigned in Different areas such as Medical - Surgical ward, OB ward, Orthopedic ward, Operating Room. i was once a Circulating and Scrub student nurse. as a Scrub nurse ill be the one who will assist the surgeon and maintaining the steriltiy. In Delivery Room also there are three category. as being the Handle will be the one who will assist the patiient on the DR table ad place in lithotomy position, cleanse vulva and perineal area, drape the patient asesptically, coach patient for most effective pushing using abdominal muscles upon contractions. etc. in Assist will be the one who will assist in taking vitals signs and fetal hear tones after each contraction, support perineum during delivery. in Cord Dressing will be the one who will gather equipment and supplies needed for newborn care, check infant weighing scale for correct Balance, attached ID band upon birth, Received the baby after cutting the cord and place in pre heated environment, Evaluate the Apgar score and take Vital signs, Latch on to mother's breast, perform cord dressing aseptically, administer eye prophylaxis.
