Profile Description

I just finished defending my thesis for my Masters degree in Marketing Communications and will be graduating on February 2019. I am currently a part-time content creator and writer for Dress My Desk, a design start-up company and a freelance job as a host and a spokesperson for Miss Teen Philippines, a local organization for pageantry. 
To give you a brief background, I have ample experience writing scholarly papers and media articles. Aside from finishing a degree in Literature, I was a student contributor turned intern for Summit Media’s Candy Magazine which has published my work, print and online.  I have also gained extensive experience in selling and negotiation through my prior profession as a Sales Executive of a high-end real estate company which fortunately led me to selling Php 60,000,000 worth of properties. Sales skills, I believe, is important to the understanding of marketing a Upgrade to see actual info addition, my public speaking background began when I won the first-runner up title for Miss Teen Philippines back in 2014. Ever since then, I have been hosting and speaking in youth programs conducted by Department of Education. Just recently, I was sent to Davao, Ilo-Ilo and Bicol to speak and screen on behalf of the organization. This gave me a chance to speak to teenage girls outside of Manila on education. And finally, graduate school has continually exposed me to academic work in relation to business management, marketing research and implementation which are significant areas in the corporate world.  Jumping into the corporate setting from the liberal arts world was indeed out of my comfort zone but it significantly fostered growth as my communication and organizational skills were put to test. I believe that I have developed strong writing, research and speaking skills through my academic and professional experiences.
