Profile Description

Hello I am Upgrade to see actual info. I have a degree in applied physics and just finished my masters degree in physics focusing on material science. 

During my time in the academe I was able to publish one of my studies at an international paper the institute of physics. During my stay at the Academe I was exposed to Academic writing and the following programming languages: Labview, c++, Matlab and Python.

I used to work as a software engineer for two years in a multinational company (Accenture) but dUpgrade to see actual info to pursue higher education. During my time as a software engineer I was able to gain some proficiency in C# , ASP.NET, AngularJS, HTML, CSS , JavaScript, Jquery, BootStrap, sitecore and SQL. Basically a mix of back end and front end web development. But for now I have shifted to using Django as my go to web framework when doing web development.

Right now I am focusing on Python and Power BI, connecting to various data sources (MySQL, API calls and even web scraping) and creating data models and visualizations that help business owners make data driven decisions.

I am well organized and work well with people. I am independent and a goal oriented individual with matching leadership skills and experience.

I left both the academe and corporate life because of the long commutes and the thought of the rat race type of life (Not to mention the politics and bureaucracy in the work place).

I plan to establish a foot hold in the freelancing community and I look forward to meeting clients who I will help and create a long lasting relationship with.
