I graduated from Jose Rizal University with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management in 2018. A month after my graduation, I joined Upgrade to see actual info as a  Corporate Sales Executive. My main responsibility was to find and acquire corporate clients who had frequent travel needs for business purposes. I used online platforms and attended events such as expositions to get their contacts and set appointments with them. I presented our product and convinced them to partner with us as their travel provider. I also handled the accounts of these clients and helped them with any problems or concerns they had with their trips. I ensured that they were satisfied with our service and that we had a long-term and profitable business relationship. Working as a Sales Executive taught me how to be confident, optimistic, and professional. I learned how to negotiate, be resourceful, manage my time, and be detail-oriented.
In 2019, I moved to Upgrade to see actual info as a Travel Sales Associate. Upgrade to see actual info is a website that sells flights to various destinations around the world. My role was to purely sell flights through inbound and outbound calls. I had to meet a quota every month to earn my commission. I learned how to build rapport with customers, ask probing questions to understand their needs, deal with rebuttals and objections, and use effective sales techniques to close the sale. I also learned how to sell like a pro from the great mentors who trained us. I was one of the consistent top agents in the Manila office, achieving and exceeding my targets.
After two years, I joined Hopper as a Travel Experience Agent. Hopper is an app that sells not only flights but also hotels, homes, and cars. My role is to assist our customers with their post-booking inquiries through calls, chat, and email. These inquiries include flight cancelations, voluntary and involuntary changes, refund requests, and app troubleshooting. I have to follow the policies and procedures of Hopper and our partner airlines and hotels. I also have to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our customers have a positive travel experience with Hopper.
