Profile Description

With over three years of general transcription experience, I have worked as a Transcriptionist to Transcription Quality Assurance Officer and ensured high-quality transcription of podcasts and other audio recordings by reviewing transcripts done by transcribers, making corrections as necessary. I transcribed 100 audio minutes per day and did 240 to 300 audio minutes per day of proofreading tasks. Being in this position made me an accurate typist with excellent language and listening skills. I can understand a wide variety of accents and speech patterns with exceptional attention to detail. 
Being a detail-oriented person and a fast learner, I take pride in completing assignments on time and accurately. Having the strong ability to follow instructions, learn new tasks with confidence and ease, I always aim to go above and beyond my set duties to ensure the best systems are in place to allow the organization to function as efficiently as possible.
Having worked as a nurse as well, I developed strong communication skills both in written and spoken English. I have communicated directly with patients and their loved ones from all backgrounds, building rapport, answering questions calmly and in terms they can understand. 
Throughout the years of my experience as a nurse, I have managed to hone skills that I consider essential to quality customer service, such as positive attitude, promptitude, time management, empathy, calmness, and keenness to detail. Furthermore, I take pride in being accountable and responsible for any task delegated to me. I am always willing to learn and go the extra mile to satisfy a customer.
