Profile Description

Currently an on-call editor with Upgrade to see actual info, a Vancouver, Canada-based outfit that provides services to Canadian students aspiring to apply for scholarships and admissions to Canadian universities.

I used to do English proofreading/editing for a U.S.-based translation outfit, where I edited hundreds of documents in a week, mostly legal documents, including documents with a lot of figures.

I used to transcribe audio and proofread text generated by AI from financial meetings of blue chip companies in Europe.

I have also previously engaged in email and affiliate marketing with Upgrade to see actual info and Upgrade to see actual info. These are affiliate platforms and at the same time affiliate marketplaces, mostly for digital products.

I was also a medical writer for an online company that summarizes public pharma materials and then keeps this in a database as competition information for sale to other pharma companies and other marketers.

I also used to write for a travel and entertainment site.

I have served as a contractor with a digital marketing agency, sorting text data for the use and improvement of their AI bot that responds to real estate clients.

I worked in corporate in the highly competitive pharmaceutical industry for several years, with the biggest multi-billion peso pharma company in the Philippines.  As such, we had state-of-the-art training and processes. My last stint was as a Training Officer. I used to train marketing field personnel and middle managers.

Aside from Training and Development, I have a background and experience in Coaching, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Managing Performance, Sales, and Marketing. I also handled direct reports as a District Supervisor before being promoted to Training Officer.
