I earned my bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communication from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2017. I followed the Advertising and Advocacy Communications track offered by my college.
During my college years, I worked as a staff writer for my college’s official publication, Tinig Ng Plaridel. I gained experience in production-related work through classes and internships. I also obtained a grasp of key concepts in marketing and advertising. Outside of academics, I took an editorial role for the quarterly newsletter of the Hemophilia Association of the Philippines for Love and Service (HAPLOS). At one point, I was commissioned as a ghostwriter for a scholarly paper about a certain performing industry within a Philippine television network.
Since 2018, I have maintained a weekly column (HemoWife) on the health news website Hemophilia News Today, under BioNews Services, LLC. I have also written articles that have been published on various online news platforms including but not limited to Rappler, Transit Dialog, etc.

I have some experience in social media marketing, having studied Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) in college. I am able to apply the skills I have learned now that I am running my own online business.
I have 14+ years of experience as a hobbyist web developer, having maintained multiple self-hosted Wordpress sites. I am familiar with the technical process of creating themes and can work my way around PHP code with some research and guidance from online resources. I consider myself quite skilled with CSS and have an eye for design and color. Although I learned JavaScript in high school, I have not had many opportunities to create my own JavaScript code, so I would not rate myself as JS proficient.
