Profile Description

I am a nursing graduate with a passion not only in taking care of others but to also explore the world beyond my wildest imagination. I graduated last 2008, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. I am also a Registered Nurse. In the year of high demand in Nurses last 2008, competition was stiff and opportunities was limited that's why I started exploring new jobs that will suffice my daily needs.
I started as a part-time English Tutor for Korean earning a humble amount Php6,000 monthly. I enjoyed my stay teaching kids and adults to learn the language. I stayed with the company for at least a year then found a new opportunity as a Sales Representative for a Pharmaceutical Firm. This experience thought me a lot in terms of communications and sales. This experience built my confidence and self-esteem. As time passed by, I learned about the opening for a Fitness Consultant. As this is at par with my science course and a bit of a passion for me, I tried my luck with health and fitness industry, It was a fun-filled experience for me as I have enhanced my confidence and get to help others reach their fitness and wellness goal. As time went by, a friend of mine recommended me for a Recruitment role for both Technical and Executive Search. I get to deal and talk to both rank and file role up to the top executive roles. This experience unlocked by resourcefulness and creative in getting in touch with people. Most especially those who are very hard to look for. This challenged me in so many ways. Then an opportunity swing by surprise. An acquaintance offered me a job that was both challenging and knowledge driven. It was a start-up apparel manufacturing company where I stayed for more than 4 years. This career provided me with a lot of hands-on exposure and learning. I was hired as the company's very first Brand Specialist. With a lot of interest with clothes on my sleeves, it was a day-to-day learning. Being in a corporate world where I use to talk and mingle with executives to casual small talk to our factory workers. It was a big adjustment but it was all worth it. Through all the fun, knowledge and experience, growing the company, I was able to learn the hoops and loops of the industry and got promoted as Operations Manager for Domestic Market with a responsibility to handle administrative tasks, recruitment drive, sourcing and purchasing of materials, product development, production, sales, costing, accounting, warehousing and logistics. It was an experience that I will never forget and must say molded me to become the person that I am today. Every day was an exciting day for me, it didn't felt work at all. I get to talk to all walks of life. Employers, Employees, Suppliers, Clients, etc.
After a year and a half with I was then promoted as a Sales and Communication Manager for External Affairs. I helped the company established their sales initiative by monitoring, coordinating and communicating with both clients and customers. We have established 4 brands with different targeted classes. I was responsible in keeping track of sales, communication with our online partners, sourcing of possible sales portal for both online and retail stores. Plan the upcoming collection where we will proceed with product development and sampling. I then present the collection to our President/CEO and Vice President of the company where I am directly reporting. I am also partly the executive’s assistants, booking their meetings, filing their important documents for both business and personal matter. I also attend to their correspondence and communicate with their appointments.
After the samples were approved, that will initiate a photo shoot where I am responsible in booking models, make-up artists, photographers and request for payments. While the photo shoot is on-going, I acted as a Stylist for the collection. Once shoot is done, I am also responsible in generating a Product Information Sheet where all the necessary information about the clothes and collections are being input. This will also ignite our creative’s team to edit and download the photos on our site. I am also in-charged in uploading and approving the necessary layout and photos that will be posted on our website and other sales channel including social media monitoring and direct sales coordination.
To sum up the work experience for the past years, it has been both a challenge and adventure for me. These experience might be different from one another but because of these opportunities that I had made me a humble, self-driven, passionate, reliable, efficient, effective, result-oriented and hard-working person I am today. I am always up for a challenge whether it’s something that I am knowledgeable about or something that is new to me. I am a reliable and trust-worthy person. I am quick in learning new things with minimal supervision. I am knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), beginner in Adobe Photoshop, Shopify navigation, Social Media interface (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Polyvore, We Heart It, Google +)
