Profile Description

I'm a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) having experience both in local and multinational company.

I started my career in a local entity, a sole proprietorship involve in distribution of feeds as a main industry in the province of Pangasinan. As an accountant in the local company, I am in charge of the financial aspect of the branch which
includes the bank reconciliation, checking the accuracy of inventory valuation,
managing and updating the accounts receivable and accounts payable, monitoring the expenses and preparing the financial statement.

After 4 years, I move to my second local company, a real estate corporation located in Metro Manila. I am the accountant for the subsidiary of the company. We use SAP Business One as an accounting system to update and prepare the reports necessary for the company. As an accountant, I’m in charge in the following responsibilities
1.Preparation of Monthly Sales Invoice
2.Maintains the General Ledger and
responsible for bookkeeping
3.Complies to BIR requirements((VAT,
Withholding tax-compensation, Withholding tax-expanded & Income tax Return)
4.Payroll Preparation
5.Preparation of tax return
6.Prepare daily journal entry
7.Handles communications with  clients 
and suppliers via phone, email and in person
8.Complies monthly reports
9.Prepares monthly balance sheet
schedules
10.Preparation of Financial Statement
11.Provides support to the Accounting Department
 
The last job I was connected with was in a Healthcare Services Company listed in New York Stock Exchange based in Dallas, Texas United States, a healthcare company having a shared services in the Philippines. As an accountant working on a night shift schedule to be able to adjust for the regular working hour in the United States. We use S2k as an accounting system for most of the accounting aspect of the job. Below are the work that I perform
1.Recording of assigned journal entry
2.Updating the ledgers of the account
3.Examining the relevant invoices
4.Recording of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
5.Making the list for reconciliation
6.Submitting of reports for approval
 
Over the years of experience as an accountant, working as an individual or with a team is a thing that I can both manage to be productive at work. I’m a person who is
strict with time management when in every aspect of my life especially at work.
