As a Business Processor for a PBM company in the US
•Risk/Issue management – An example of which was when a benefit configuration was modified accidentally from a higher hierarchy by a colleague when the requirement should only be at a group level (lower hierarchy). When this issue is left undetected and unresolved, this will cause millions of dollars to be lost by the benefit manager. This was detected through a weekly status touch base which includes risk/issue detection and mitigation. The issue was resolved prior to the account live date through rigorous analysis of historical data, collaboration with account managers and configuration Upgrade to see actual info a week-time, the benefit manager was saved from a potential million-dollar loss.
•Increased the capacity of billable resources to 400% in 2013
•Formed a branch out team which became a standalone team in the same year of 2013
•Provide status of the team’s deliverables to onshore manager
•Created the standard operating procedures and checklists for business requirements and approved by onshore manager
•Monitor capacity of resources and day-to-day operations within the team
•Handle reliability issues and perform error resolution
