Trained communication specialist with a track record of creating creative strategies for online campaigns, producing articles, and social media marketing. Has a comprehensive experience in media production as a former reporter. Knows how to write, produce and report for television, radio, and social media content. Dabbles in arts, especially in the visual realm.
I’ve been in the media industry for more than 3 years where I was trained to write timely and reliable weather reports. We don’t have researchers and writers back then, so we are the ones who gather the information and data to be reported on television. I also handle different social media platforms and post compelling content. I was required to produce blogs and articles on our website, mostly about weather-related topics, environmental protection, climate change, and the like. We use Word Press to post our write-up on our website. I also produced multiple video content for YouTube.
From my background in media writing, reporting, and producing, I then contribute as a content writer and creator for a non-profit organization in the Philippines. Aside from writing articles posted on the website and managing their social media platforms, I also write letters of appeal or email marketing to potential donors, business partners, and volunteers and encourage them to be part of our mission to uplift the lives of the people that we help.
When the pandemic happened, I sought opportunities to work at home. And since I am also fond of teaching kids, I worked with an ESL company (English as a Second Language) where I help Asian kids and some adults to understand English and be more confident in using the language.
During my spare time, I paint and teach painting to kids, sell ornamental plants, and I helped with our church’s media, music, and kids’ ministry. And before I forgot, I also accept Voice Over projects.
