OBJECTIVE: To learn from the best in industry through hands on experiences and active participation
I've been employed in Philippines as garment technician at Golden ABC for almost 6 years - their brands are Penshoppe, Oxygen, ForMe, Memo, Regatta, Tyler and Red Logo.
My prior work was in charge of checking the Spec Sheets of the Designers. We support the design and buying teams through all stages of product development from design to manufacture.
Responsibilities would include:
-suggesting modifications to designs if necessary
-advising on suitable fabrics
-make sure that the most appropriate construction methods are used
-make sure garments can be produced within budget
I had also a background on designing
I can also design shirts, graphics, jeans, and any clothing design. I have been a creative designer for 3 years (1 year in Wrangler Philippines and 2 years in Golden ABC), so I also have knowledge in both aesthetic and technical side of garment.
I am able to use adobe photoshop and illustrator in designing. I can also paint and do fashion illustration. I‘ve been employed also in AirAsia Philippines as creative artist/illustrator handling the social media. I also do traditional paintings on the side.
