I have been working in customer service and medical billing - revenue cycle management field for over 10 years, and I have a strong understanding of the entire process, from data entry and claim submission to denial management and patient collections.

In my previous role as a Medical Billing Specialist, I was responsible for all aspects of the medical billing process for a large group of doctors, mostly for outpatient-office, and inpatient-hospital provider services, including data entry, claim submission, eligibility verification, pre-authorizations, denial management, appeals, accounts receivable follow-up, and payment posting.

I have a strong understanding of the medical billing process and the various insurance regulations, and I am proficient in using a variety of medical billing software programs such as Athenahealth, Kareo - Go Practice, and Advanced MD (PM & EHR).

In addition to my experience in medical billing, I also have experience in operations, quality assurance, and customer service. In my previous role as an Operations Team Leader, I was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical billing department, with a team of 10-15 medical billers. I was able to identify areas where we could improve our processes, and I implemented changes that resulted in a significant increase in productivity and efficiency.

I also have experience in quality assurance, and I am proficient in using a variety of quality assurance tools and techniques. In my previous role as a Quality Assurance Specialist, I was responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures for the medical billing department. I also conducted audits of the medical billing process and medical claims to identify and correct any areas for improvement also ensuring that they were compliant with all applicable regulations.

I am also a highly skilled customer service representative. I have a knack for resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner, and I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my customers are satisfied.
