Profile Description

My experience with setting up a social enterprise abroad has made me a strong-willed, self-motivated and conscientious professional. I’ve worked with a Japanese Foundation called 1zu JP (Ichizu Heart Foundation Inc.) that focuses on communities in the Indo-China area to provide support for grassroots communities that deal with social dilemmas such as unemployment, human rights violations, environmental preservation. As their researcher, I traveled to these countries to immerse in their culture and better understand the dynamics and factors at play that affect their socio-economic standards. We set up a cafe in Siem Reap, Cambodia and marketed healthy snacks and refreshments targeted to the large population of European tourists that visit Angkor Wat annually. All of our products were handmade, carefully crafted using plantation native to Cambodia, locally harvested by Cambodians. All with the aim to create a stable source of income and stimulate economic growth for the Cambodian community we have chosen. An a sole proprietor of art, I have a deep understanding of business processes and developments. As well as strategy formulation and execution.
