I started working in the BPO industry when I was 18, in my senior year at the university. I landed a job as a customer service associate for a coffee company. Basically, I handled customers from the US and answered phone calls. I helped them with their accounts such as providing information about the status of their memberships, dealing with their billing concerns, and offering the latest products and promotions.
Next, I became a tier2 technical support for AT&T. I helped customers in different states to troubleshoot their internet connection, submitted and followed up on tickets, and offered available promotions for their subscription.
3rd, I worked as an iOS advisor. Primarily, I assisted clients with their Apple devices and account troubles with Apple ID and iTunes.
This account is for APAC consumers.
4th, I became part of a Google account that deals with domains.
I couldn't continue working for the company as the location takes 6 hours of my time every day to commute to work. This was so far the most difficult company to get
5th, I went back to AT&T. I was offered to do the sales services with customer support. I was trained to sell products and services suitable to their location and credit standing. I also did customer support for billing concerns.
Finally, I d
I applied as an English teacher with zero experience and no training at all.
I got hired by a Japanese company. The job was very demanding but really fulfilling. I had to make sure that I keep a positive and cheerful vibe during the class. The students vary from beginners to almost natives. Japanese people invest their time and money to learn or improve their skills, so it's my job to help them grow and pass their English tests for school and job opportunities, locally and internationally.
Every student is unique as their needs differ from each
Now, I'm looking for a job that can help me unleash my full potential. I am a team player and always put the company's interests first. I believe that the company's success is an employee's achievement too. And a company that compensates and rewards its employees generates a hardworking and effective worker. I can also do tasks with very minimal supervision. I can perform research on my own if necessary. I'm also always willing to be trained for new roles, if possible or new skills, if applicable. I am very receptive to feedback and accept constructive criticisms.
