Profile Description

I just worked at Ayala Land International Sales as an International Property Specialist. I worked there for (3) years and I believe that my acquired experience in a Real Estate company would make me an ideal candidate for the position I’m applying for. I was responsible for promoting and marketing the Real Estate Projects of Ayala Land and its subsidiaries in assigned territories and markets. We were tasked to market properties to Filipinos abroad. Particularly Filipinos and Filipino Americans residing in the US. We answer their inquiries thru Social Media Platforms and close deals via telemarketing.
Prior to working for a real estate company, I also worked at the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines. And aside from visa processing tasks, I must also answer the phone or walk-in inquiries from the applicants who want to follow up on their applications or visa processing-related inquiries. My organizational skills were enhanced because I was asked to evaluate and file overstay documents that are relevant for future reference of our Upgrade to see actual info addition to that, we are receiving 500-3,000+ applications a day at the visa section. Applicants who would want to travel, work, and study, or even live in Japan are the day-to-day cases I’m dealing with. I was trained on whether the documents submitted by the applicant are qualified and eligible for Japan’s criteria for acquiring a visa or bound for possible denial, bank verification course of action, and the like. After a sound judgment on the applicant’s documents, it is then passed to our consuls for a final Upgrade to see actual info depends on them if the applicant will be given single or multiple entry visas. There are some applications that will be pending for further evaluation of our consuls. Applicant’s passport details whether pending or good to go for the process will be encoded on our visa system portal varying on the visa type and purpose of travel to Upgrade to see actual info the afternoon, we scan the documents of the applicants that are granted visas and fix their visa pictures on them. The final step is we stick the visas on their passports and arrange them according to the agencies.
Working at a consular post can be very challenging because it’s a given that one must always work under pressure to avoid backlogs knowing that Japan is one of the most visited countries of Filipinos that requires visas upon arrival. I was able to prove that I can survive in a fast-paced environment and work on stress under time pressure. I also managed to work harmoniously with the Upgrade to see actual info is a must because of the large volume of applications we are receiving. As I step up on a career ladder, a force of habit was developed and rooted deep within me, and that is to do the task at hand efficiently, fast, and provide accuracy with great quality. Before working at the embassy, I worked for the government as a Health Program Officer at the Food and Drug Administration. Strategic planning had become one of my strong points because our unit, Ethical Market Communications conducted research on marketing and promotion for industry and healthcare professionals. I was tasked to investigate unethical marketing practices to avoid misleading promotions on food, drugs, cosmetic products, and medical devices. We call the company’s attention to send out warning letters and even closure of establishments.
With the 3 industries I've worked closely with, namely the government office, consular post, and a real estate company, I must say that I excel most in the field of customer/public service. Through the years, I was honed to become a people person type. I love dealing with the masses, sharing with them my knowledge that is essential to their needs. Thank you for taking the time to evaluate my application. I look forward to learning more about this opportunity.
