Profile Description

Being the Chief Operating Officer for a U.S. news site, I had the responsibility to take care of and handle most of the news sites that were included in my team. Part of my responsibilities includes training and guiding both editors and writers, quality check and even distribution of articles being sent out to the public, and overseeing the success in growth of the sites and its people. Also, became the main HR lead for the company that oversees the hiring process for all our company's needs.
Before my COO post, I worked as the managing editor for an international news site and was assigned to manage my group that includes three copy editors and more than 20
writers. I was also responsible for hiring and finding potential writers that can fill the growing needs of the website.
I was assigned to edit and revised news articles for different news sites. Topics that were given to me included tech, gadgets, games, fashion and entertainment, and science and health. Part of my tasks is to make certain that all articles are free from plagiarism and spinning. I
also search and distribute trending topics to writers. I also wrote tech news articles for them that made me gain experience when it comes to news writing.
For the past seven years, I have been working with different websites as an SEO writer, copywriter, blog and article writer. I can write about different topics such as weddings, pest controls, home improvement, health issues, physical fitness, dietary foods, and so on. I also managed most of my client's WordPress, posting most of what I write for their blogs. I have worked with different internet sites since 2008 and did some administrative tasks with them, data encoding, and provided virtual assistance. Although I focused mainly on writing, I am confident that I am self-directed and can figure things on my own.
I also became an editor to one of my clients, handling a couple of writers to manage and write blogs for me. As of now, I am searching for further work that will enhance my skills and fill the time that I still have on my hands. I want to work with a company that will provide me with a stable and meaningful job while still providing me with financial security. I am confident that my experience in content writing, blog writing, blog commenting, article writing and submission, and SEO projects will make me a competitive candidate for the job.
