Profile Description

I am a Registered Nurse since 2008 and I have 12 years of combined Clinical and BPO experience handling different lines of business. I passed my NCLEX exam March 6, 2023 under New Mexico License.

Currently, I am an inpatient Utilization Review Nurse for Humana Insurance. We provide clinical review either to approve, deny or route for further review according to guidelines. We use MCG as reference for approving or denying a claim. Our CRM is salesforce. 

Prior to this, my previous company is QBE Insurance. I stayed for 8 years, starting off as a claims offer for Property and Motor Claims. I got promoted to Quality Analyst role and was auditing different departments for 5 years. I perform quality audit reviews making sure we adhere to business partner standards. Proficient with MS applications as we deliver weekly and monthly reports with data analysis and risk assessment. 

I work with less supervision and I believe that the lack of skills is not a hindrance, it is the resilience and perseverance to learn more and to deliver excellent results that will achieve a difficult task. I take ownership of every task given to me and I uphold a great level of professionalism and integrity. Furthermore, I am looking for a company that I can work with in a long-term setup as I want to be able to work from home while enjoying my son and family's company.
