I can offer 16 years of diversified post-graduate experience in multiple industries including, but not limited to, hospitality, oil & gas, IT and banking as well as performing progressive designations, I am confident that my skills would be an asset in the successful achievement of the overall business plan and commercial goals of the company.
In 2011, I moved to Doha, Qatar from the Philippines and started working as one of the Pre-Opening team of Aspire Zone Foundation’s the Torch Doha Hotel as the Accounts Payable Upgrade to see actual info is one of the city's most luxurious hotel and the tallest hotel in Upgrade to see actual info 2015, I was promoted as Senior Accountant, then in 2018, I became the Cluster Chief Accountant handling four (4) business units - The Torch Doha, Al Azziziya Boutique Hotel, Sarab Camp and Katara Beach Club. After almost nine fruitful years with the company, I found another opportunity to work with one of the biggest family conglomerates in Qatar to lead the Accounts Payable team of four of their business units having different types of industry namely; Hospitality, Spa, Luxury Laundry Services and Landscape & Water feature Engineering.
Prior to that, I was one of the few people recruited by Affiliated Computer Services of the Philippines, A Xerox Company, to be sent to the United States of America to shadow train and initiate the transition of the Accounts Payable process from New York to Manila.
Another notable company and position I held from 2007 to 2009 was Shell Shared Services, Asia B.V. – Part of Shell Oil Company. My designation was Analyst - Reconciliation and Analysis, Revenue Cash Allocation and Application.
I am aiming to achieve a CMA Certification soon and is currently finishing my thesis for my Master’s degree program specializing in Finance.
On a personal note, I have been previously told that I have an eye for detail and that my analytical skills are admirable. I communicate effectively so my management skills are also proficient. I like to read and learn new things. I am independent but works well with people of different nationalities. I am driven and passionate.
