I have been working as a customer service representative for a tv provider (DISH network) in the U.S. for almost 5 yrs now, was able to set up new customer accounts, assist with understanding the bill and take care of billing disputes, assist in technical troubleshooting, programming of remotes to different equipment, upsell premium or ala carte channels and higher programming packages, assist in programming changes; became an advanced technical agent and process return authorizations for a malfunctioning equipment and schedule technician appointments if necessary. assist w/ activating new receivers, connecting the new tv to the receiver, getting a picture to come up on a fuzzy screen and assist w/ signal problems. I was also able to research shipments if they get delayed. I'm currently working as an account specialist for the Retention/Loyalty department. We pacify and assist irate and frustrated customers who threatens or want to cancel their services or subscriptions, offer the best resolution, make adjustments on customer's bills if necessary and make customers happy and content, and above all, make customers see the value of keeping their services.
I also have experience in the medical field, being a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have worked in different departments during our student years but I have specialized in the Emergency Room after passing the Nursing Licensure Exam. You might wonder why I ended up as a customer service representative - mainly because it's difficult to work without any salary and having to depend on your family for financial support even after graduation. Well, we have to pay our dues.
