I have five years of experience as an Accountant in a manufacturing company (SFA Semicon Philippines) with over 1,000 production employees. With this, I can say that I am very efficient when it comes to high volume of work in the accounting department. I was General Accounting and Treasury Specialist. In the Accounts Payable side, I was responsible of bookkeeping and review of supplier invoices, making sure that all Purchase orders, invoices, and receiving slips, delivery receipts and other necessary documents match in details. As Treasury specialist, I did monthly payment processing for the company, which includes more than a hundred Suppliers to be paid twice every month.
Aside from this, I was also responsible for Collection of receivables for Sales and other income, monitoring all receivables, making sure that payments due from customers are collected on time, and the right amount is received. in connection to this, I monitored Vendor and Customer activities in the system. These are just some of the task I have experience with. I completed various reports for the Company such as Daily Cashflow reports, Cashflow forecast, reconciliation, monthly subsidiary ledgers and expense Analyses. The accounting systems that we used are SAGE Accpac, and UNIERP. I also have basic knoweldge of Quickbooks online and Xero Accounting. I also have solid experience with Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Outlook. I have strong English communication skills.
I am very efficient, I always follow strict deadlines. I have initiative, I am very decisive, and have very good decision-making skills but I'm always open to correction and suggestion, in order to get the job done properly.
