Profile Description

My love for lUpgrade to see actual infouage and writing started about twelve years ago when my English LUpgrade to see actual infouage teacher in high school assigned us to write a few short poems as a course requirement. A month after, my poems got published in our school paper. I got my first amateur writing job a year after that, in our town’s weekly newspaper, The Southern Leyte Times. That was in the year 2004. I wrote articles about school and teenage life, in a span of three years.

Instead of getting a Communications Degree in college, I chose to take Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse, aside from being a part-time writer.

After college, I could not let go of my love for lUpgrade to see actual infouage and writing. I then landed a job as an ESL (English as Second LUpgrade to see actual infouage) Instructor, then I proceeded to becoming a Copy Editor for Author Solutions, a publishing company helping independent authors self-publish their works. I edited a lot of manuscripts with various genres.

On the side, I took online transcription jobs. I also had the chance of becoming a Marketing Assistant in an educational institution where I took charge of the school's communication with external partners and organized some of their events. This is where I harnessed my office administration skills.

After a few months, I worked as a Copywriter for an Australian web hosting and online marketing company, The Web Showroom. I wrote blog articles for a variety of subjects such as, health, medicine, fitness, technology, fashion, food, travel, interior design, environment, and many more.

After my contract with The Web Showroom, I got hired as a Customer Operations Professional by Invoice2go, which is a mobile invoicing application available for the web and iOS and Android devices. I provided technical support to clients through chat and email, using Zendesk.

After my office-based stints, I decided to become a full-time freelancer. I have learned a lot from my previous jobs, and want to establish myself as a home-based working professional.

It's been a year and a half since I started  working as a freelancer here in onlinejobs.ph, and so far, so good. I have tried content curation, blog writing, research, data entry, copy editing, proofreading, transcription, audio book recording, Wordpress tutorials, and many more for different clients. I have come to really love freelancing as it teaches me to be more independent, self-directed, and time-conscious.
