As a Legal Assistant in a government agency, I handle several cases of land conflicts and cases. I prepare reports, summary of cases, cover e-mails in reply to clients, and other documents. I also preside over Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) sessions, so basically I have skills in mediation and I have experience in talking with clients when they ask for updates and when they have inquiries about their respective cases. I am also great at English grammar, and I have excellent English skills, both oral and
I was also previously employed as a Paralegal in a law firm wherein I perform similar tasks as above. But here, I perform other tasks such as maintaining the calendar of court hearings and/or videoconferences of my immediate supervisor. I also perform legal research for the lawyers for their preparation of documents (i.e., pleadings to be filed in court).
In addition to this, while employed as a Legal Assistant and previously as a Paralegal in a law firm, I am currently studying Law here in the Philippines in Far Eastern University Makati.
I can multi-task and I have a sense of urgency. I perform tasks according to given instructions and according to the best of my knowledge and skills. Further, I am always eager to learn and I take criticisms well and use them to improve in the performance of my job.
I hope you will consider me for a part-time position in your company.
Thank you very much.
