Hi, my name is Rose. I am a corporate professional who’s been running the rat race for over 30 years now. I’ve worked with major organizations of all shapes and sizes, bringing more than 3 decades of combined experience in banking, education, information technology, and port operation industries. My work spans various fields including Project Management, Customer Service, Human Resources, Accounting and Administration, Research and Marketing, Content and Technical Writing, Learning and Training, Business Consulting, and IT Process Documentation. Being in corporate provides a steady source of income and serves as an “engine” for everything else in my life… but I still have this underlying ‘freelance’ spirit that’s been put on the back burner for too
I invested my time and money in an Amazon Seller VA Masterclass Course, then interned for a 7-figure Amazon Seller to learn the ropes on how to be a 'rockstar' VA. There are free courses online and even on YouTube, but I decided to spend on my Amazon Seller VA education because I wanted to learn and hone my skills, and be mentored by experts so I can give value to my clients.
I have 2 years of experience as a freelance ESL Teacher to Koreans. I also did a 9-month part-time job as a Virtual Test Developer and Writer for 2 Korean-based companies represented by Ms. Bo Kyung Kang in the Philippines who subcontracted educational projects to produce original English examinations and online tests to gauge the level of proficiency of Korean students and graduates.
I created easy-to-understand policies, strategies, and correspondences including, but not limited to, user-friendly manuals and guides for the Information Technology Department where I worked at for more than 1 decade. I also developed IT articles for company publishing, email templates, procedures and forms, skill-set scoring checklists, and documented numerous processes, systems, and applications implemented by my organization. I also submitted a fictional story that was published by a magazine during my stint in the banking industry. I am continuously upskilling and cross-skilling to provide the desired results for my clients and find a significant niche in the freelancing field. I have finished another 2 paid courses to add to my skills and have more in-depth knowledge of Email Marketing and Profitable FB Ads Copywriting, and I'm not stopping there.
I started in Accounting as a bank employee. From there, I worked my way up and became an Accounting, HR, and Admin. Manager in an IT Consulting company then as a Technical Training and Documentation Manager in the IT department of one of the largest ports in Manila, Philippines, and as a Project and Documentation Manager in the fastest and most progressive transport terminals which has 10 subsidiaries all over the country.
I handled outstanding customer service and support in the bank and IT industries. I can say that my clients have been very appreciative of my attitude, skills, and work ethic.
