Worked in a BPO company (Concentrix Philippines) for more than six (6) months, I handled outbound and inbound calls, international account. My previous job was in a travel agency for more than 15 years as Accounting Officer but the tasks assigned to me sometimes were not even my job but since it is instructed by my boss (The President/Owner) I have to do it and its for the welfare of our company. In my previous job, one of my skills that I have improved was writing emails to the suppliers , and preparing letters to different Embassies for our customers needed in securing their visas. I also worked in a call center company for more than six (6) months which I am totally new because I do not have any medical background but I am really thankful with my trainer due to she had seen my capabilities during our training days.
Working in a travel agency requires me also to talked with some of the regular clients especially the clients of the big boss every time she had to go out of the country. She had 3 - 5 scheduled trips every year. During Travel Expo I had to helped also the Sales Team during my free time to gain more customers and encouraging them to get airplane tickets and hotel bookings to us which I also enjoy doing so.
I do not have any knowledge in Web Development but if I will be required in doing it so I could try to learn it too. Only Javascript is familiar with me since I had to use it in encoding our contributions in Social Security System (SSS).
I do bookkeeping in my previous work in a travel agency. Had my certificate also in Xero last year, and planning to watch also webinar in Quickbooks since I was not able to get certified but know somehow that practice would lead me to know more about this system.
In my previous work, when my boss had to attend meetings or doing group bookings and need not be disturbed, she'd usually assigned me in taking the calls of her/his clients , and calming customers who are hysterical in getting some payment refunds even an unexpected cancellations of trips. Putting yourself in the clients shoe when experiencing or having troubles on some travel things made them feel important and being heard and you will definitely gained their trust and will again look forward for your service on their next travel.
