SKILL SUMMARY

Producing a pitch about working for a specific company is (probably one of the most overlooked) part of my job when I was worked as a recruiter for almost two years.

As a novice back then, I learned it from scratch. I initially observed how the recruitment process works. Later on, I got the hang of it and I’ve acquired numerous skills over Upgrade to see actual info was such a confidence builder.

During this time, I mainly source for talent leads and reach out to those who can be of great value for a retail business. While creating a pitch, I always strive to offer value with what I do. At the same time, standing out from the competition is also a priority.

To show what’s in it for them, a compelling and persuasive message is a must to spark their interest in our organization. But there’s also the “how” part of making an employment pitch. That’s a whole different story.

Over time, I’ve tried few ways to relay such a message to my leads. For the most part, formal messages seemed unappealing. But resorting to a more casual and friendly tone worked way better.

I carried this out by either using different job portals or by directly sending it through LinkedIn. On the side, I was also exposed to managing our social media accounts I create graphic designs and manage our social media page to increase traffic and Upgrade to see actual info addition, I curate written content about recruitment and employer branding as well.

Eventually, I developed a liking towards this seemingly simple and unglorified task of mine as a recruiter. But what surprised me is that I got to a point where I am much more drawn to it than the recruitment process itself.

I really enjoyed doing it.

Eventually, I’ve come to my senses and dUpgrade to see actual info to feed my curiosity more about it. I learned that with this type of writing, what I’m producing is basically called a COPY.

In a nutshell, this is how my recruitment skills have broadened when I’ve been introduced to the world of copywriting and social media.
