I worked in an online travel agency for 4 years wherein I process reservations such as flights, hotels and cars and these included changes and cancellations. I coordinate with the hotelier to help the customers with their concerns such as billing, special request and other hotel-related issues (services, amenities, etc). Also, as a customer service representative, I attend to customers' inquiries and concerns in order to help them solve their issues with the reservation making sure they will have a great customer experience.

Currently, I am a virtual assistant of a travel agency catering cruises and land tours. I am tasked with pre-booking and post-booking works such as reservation fulfillment, checking availability, placing holds with suppliers, and preparing quotations per requests by the senior agent.

Yes, there's less “social life”, but there's more flexibility and freedom in type of career: working at the comfort of our home. I absolutely love the lifestyle, it allows me to have more time to be with my family and at the same time grow and further my skills to be more adept in the industry.
