I am very aware that the competition for online jobs is increasing especially nowadays that we are experience the threats of the Covid19 pandemic. A lot of qualified applicants are looking for a home-based job that will help me them earn while minimizing the risk of acquiring the virus and I am one of them. Honestly, I do not have any experience yet in terms of being a virtual bookkeeper/assistant but I believe with the experiences I’ve been through and my willingness to learn new concepts and methods will help me compete and qualify for the available positions.

I am Upgrade to see actual info Upgrade to see actual info, a graduate of Business Administration major in Financial Management at St. Rita’s College of Balingasag. I have undergone a 320 hours on-the-job training as a bookkeeper and assistant at Climbs Life and General Insurance Cooperative at Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City. I have learned what it feels like working in a real office set-up and completing the reports needed by my supervisor which help me to be prepared in facing the real business corporate world. Moving on, I got my first job as an Accounts Receivable Associate way back 2014 at St. Peter Chapels, Inc – Head Office located at Quezon City, Manila. For me it is one of the most unforgettable experience that I have done. Gathering up the courage to leave my family and taking the risk of surviving in a place where I do not have relatives but having only friends, I learned how to become independent. Unfortunately, we have a family situation where I need to give up my work and move back here in Mindanao last September 2016. And on November 2016 I got my second job as an Accounting Supervisor at Far East Hotel Management & Consultancy, Inc., I supervised all the income-generating outlets of the company, including the checking of cash remitted by the cashiers daily. I also performed bank reconciliation and general bank transactions. I am also in-charged for the preparations and submission of Cash Flow Statements, Income Statements, Profit & Loss Report, Payroll, Billing and Statement of Accounts, Accounts Payable and Receivables, and the Liquidation and Disbursement of Revolving Funds. My colleagues used to call me “Ms. Know it All”, they always asked for help whether its work-related or personal. Being with my FEHMCI Family is such an amazing journey of my life, we always value our good relationship and bonding moments together. I gave birth to my first- born daughter last December 2019 and I am very afraid to take risk of going to work which has a higher chance of acquiring the virus. With a heavy heart, last October 10 I filed a resignation because I needed to prioritize the safety of our family. 

As a result, I am looking for opportunities on how I can still work while I am at home. I read and research online about this freelancing career and I am very interested on how I can grow and learn with this new platform. One of the strengths is my ability to do multi-tasking and handle routine correspondence in a timely and effective manner. All of my reports are submitted ahead of time and I make sure that it is accurate. I am proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a 46 WPM speed in typing. I’ve been practice with email managements and time management and I was equipped with management skills and customer service trainings by my previous employers.
