I had the opportunity to work with a merchant service provider, where I do outbound call offering POS systems to restaurant businesses. My responsibilities included cold calling and scheduling appointments for business owners to have in-depth discussions about the POS system with my client. It's a straightforward task that involves using a spreadsheet containing all the leads, using Ring Central as our dialer, and Slack to keep our clients updated on appointment progress. I typically set 10-15 appointments in a week for this client.
I also had the opportunity to work with a real estate investor for his cash offer campaigns. As an appointment setter, my main responsibility was to make cold calls to potential leads and set up appointments with the acquisitions team. I handle between 300 to 500 calls per 8 hour shift. And On average, I am able to set 5-10 appointments per week.
We use Five9 as our CRM and dialer simultaneously, and when scheduling an appointment, I would enter the details into the CRM and also fill out a Wufoo form and Google spreadsheet for the client's reference.
In terms of other tools or softwares, I was able to use another CRM such as Mojo and several dialer like Zoiper, Vonage, and AirCall. Additionally, I am proficient in using productivity tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft office, Calendly and Canva.
Lastly, I also worked in the BPO industry for 6 years as customer support across different sectors including finance, telecommunications, and eCommerce, and because of that I developed strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
