Hired Full Time on Jul 2, 2021
I can communicate well with clients in both written and spoken communication. I also had my share of experience in quality assurance as well as learning and development. I have also been tasked with conducting classroom training with new hires as well as facilitating event-based group discussions.
I started working in the BPO industry back in August 2010 with Teletech. I worked there as a number porting specialist for an American Telco for 17mos with a salary package of 12,500php. during my stay with Teletech, I had my share of experience being an SME after months of experience and became one of the go-to guys for the new hires for process-related queries.
After more than a year of working in the BPO industry, I figured that my pay figure needs to go up a little bit as I was also helping out with the household expenses, including a couple of my siblings studying in college. I left Teletech in February 2012 and started looking for another job and landed a role in Aegis People Support (now acquired by Teleperformance) as an Inbound Sales rep for an online Booking site for Hotels
After my contract with Aegis ended, I signed a contract with Sutherland Global in September 2012 as a customer service representative, again with another Telco for 5mos. I did not stay there for long as I tried to venture into a different career path other than the BPO industry. enrolled me in a culinary school & tried my luck in landing a job in the culinary field after getting certified.
After my share of culinary experience (which I think is not worth mentioning as it is irrelevant to the role I am trying to land), I tried to get back to the industry in which I am more accustomed (because pay-wise, payroll in the foodservice industry is nothing to be compared to the paycheck I am getting from the BPO industry, and don't even get me started with the work hours). I got a job with iQor as a customer service representative for another Telco company based in the US, and I worked for the Prepaid section of the business. I only managed to stay there for 6mos due to the work environment, and I felt I wasn't getting that much support from my lead. I did not see any growth there.
Months after, I signed a contract with Convergys (now Concentrix) back in June 2015 for "another" Telco line of business, but this time, this client is based in Australia. the best part about it is that I get to work during the daytime. I stayed there for
I took a break from the BPO Industry for several months because I don't see myself working nights anymore after more than a year of working during the daytime, living like a normal
After a few months, I got another offer from Collabera for another Australian Client as a Claims consultant for a Motor Vehicle Insurance company. they assigned me to EXL and I started there back in April 2019. I'm still associated with the company as of today, and the company gave me the opportunity to do QA Roles and even Training and Development
Now, I want to be able to land a role for a home-based setup, that way, I can be with my family within the safety of our home, and at the same time provide for them.
