I worked as a call center representative to a US and Australian telecommunications company for 4 years. Being a call center representative I know it's a huge responsibility to assist customers whatever their concern is that's why I always go the extra mile just to satisfy customers because that's my main goal. Though I never forget to follow and adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
What I enjoyed being a call center representative is that I encountered different kinds of people over the phone, some customers were good and of course, there will always be an irate customer. Irate customers are hard to please but with my communication skills, I can handle the situation under pressure.
