OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented and exited person to join our newly growing team on an exclusive basis.
We are a company that is growing and have a great opportunity that we have made available for a Webmaster that can fit well with our needs.
This job is not for everyone, but we’re looking for a team member who can make contributions to the team and will share their ideas freely with the team to better the company and work flow.
You should be a quick learner and have a proven track record in maintaining websites.
You will be working on a variety of fun projects and have the opportunity to grow with the company by taking on a higher position and therefore a higher salary.
We are established and have a lot of work for a long time coming so this is not a short term project.
We do not want someone who likes to jump from project to project, or company to company as this is a permanent position.
We also are looking for someone who will only work for us.
This means we need 100% of your focus and work efforts going towards this job.

The main niche you will be working in is the self-improvement industry for women.

JOB SUMMARY
As a Webmaster, you are in charge of maintaining our web sites for us.
This will require a wide range of skills and abilities in website maintenance.
As a webmaster you may sometimes assume the role of a web designer, the main job of a webmaster is to monitor, improve, and update the performance of our existing web sites. You must learn about our business and the industry to which our websites belong. If the goal is to sell products or services to customers, you need to stay up to date with our marketing policies and sales objectives.
Occasionally you may at times work with other people in our organization, so you must have the ability to work and communicate well with others.
As our webmaster, you must perform a variety of technical tasks to make sure that our websites work properly and can be accessed quickly by as many people as possible. These tasks include making sure the server and browsers can properly handle e-mail, transmit news, and download files. Customers using a variety of browsers or operating systems such as Windows or Macintosh should be able to access the site equally well. These duties require the webmaster to keep up with changing technical standards in areas such as HTML (hypertext markup language), HTTP (hyper-text transfer protocol), and XML (extensible markup language) that affect the workings of the Web site.
File security is another important technical concern of the webmaster. The web site must be secure enough that we can control who has access to confidential files yet open enough so that customers can easily access relevant information. The webmaster must maintain a "firewall" that protects the client's information from hackers or others who may try to steal or destroy it electronically.
Once a website is created, it is the job of the webmaster to maintain the site so that it remains a valuable resource for the client and the client's customers. Maintenance is a more routine task than site design and creation, but it may occupy the majority of your
time and effort. You must update information contained on our websites or in databases linked to the site and check the links on the site regularly to make sure that they are still working and that the information they provide is still current.
You may also spend some time surfing the internet to become acquainted with new developments and ideas and to discover new pages to link to the client's Web site. The site itself must be checked for bugs or other problems such as images that do not load properly.
You will monitor how many people visit each site to determine if it needs to be upgraded to handle increased use. By monitoring traffic on our sites, your will also track how often various pages, features, and links are used. This information is used to update the web sites to make them more appealing and functional. You must keep abreast of new technology, understand how to implement it, and know which technologies will enhance our web sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and Manage Wordpress Sites
- Install, Manage and Optimize Squeeze Pages
- Some Graphic Design Work With Photo Shop or an Equivalent
- Add Opt-In Forms, Analytics, Google Optimizer
- Shopping Cart Integration a plus but can be learned
OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED
- Some SEO Busy Work (during any possible downtime)
- Customer Support
*Note – We are building a team and some of these occasional duties will be taken from you that are not core Webmaster duties.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job does not require supervisory responsibilities though there will be room for advancement if you are motivated and have the initiative to challenge yourself to move higher.
QUALIFICATIONS
