Local Business Rockstar is an internet marketing agency that is rapidly expanding and is seeking an experienced, FULL-time web site developer and programmer with PHP and Javascript experience.

This position will evolve into a Management role for the right person.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
• Has a portfolio of websites built using Wordpress
• Speaks, writes, and reads English.
• Self-motivated and detailed oriented
• Fast Learner and likes to learn
• Comprehensive understanding of HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, and W3C compliance
• Strong experience with PHP and Javascript languages (programming WP plugins, themes, and software is BIG PLUS)
• Fundamental grasp of SEO like backlinking, keyword research, title tags, etc.
• Owns a computer with a webcam
• Must be able report daily
• Takes pride in their work and is self-confident in their ability
• Can develop and program ROCKSTAR websites and software that people love!


BONUS TRAITS (but not required)
• Has used Headway Themes to build websites (BIG plus)
•
• Copywriting skills a Big plus
• Owns a recent version of Photoshop is a BIG plus.
• Owns any software that is relevant to the internet marketing industry
• Wordpress Plugin development experience—HUGE PLUS.
• Experience with Analytics or is Google Individual Certified is ROCKSTAR plus!

However, we are open to accepting anyone’s application if they feel they have the talent to fill this position. This position will offer a trial period of 90-days with permanent status thereafter based on performance.

During the interview process, we will be evaluating applicants by their ability to be unique, expressive, and have great attention to detail. In fact, when you email us, you MUST include "I love coding!" in the subject title.

We are looking for a hard working team player who wants to work 40 hours per week or more if necessary. Also, you would need to be able to work at least 2-4 hours each day during USA time zones.

Using a Time recording software or system is MANDATORY.

This position will mainly be to build websites and create software programs, but you must be willing to function in multiple roles.

You must be able to start immediately upon hiring and have fun!

Our pay is very competitive and generous, but is also dependent upon experience, talent, portfolio and skill set. We offer performance-based bonuses, definite career advancement for those with leadership skills, and pay raises for loyalty.
