Danny Coritao’s Story of Struggle and Success Through OnlineJobs.ph

Danny Boy Coritao is one amazing Filipino Virtual Assistant. He has won awards for his designs. He has had many happy foreign clients, and now owns a small local business. He’s a responsible husband and a hands-on father to three beautiful children. He also gives back to the community by training other Filipinos to become virtual assistants like him.

This does not sound like your typical Filipino story, but it started like one.

Flashback

Danny Boy Coritao was one of the Filipinos who have constantly struggled through life.

danny boy coritao onlinejobs.phAfter earning a degree in IT, he was expecting things to look up, like any other graduate would. However, after receiving his degree, he found himself in a job where he felt he was overworked and underpaid. There was no career ladder, and no opportunity for him to improve his skills and work on his, passion, designing.

What made things more desperate was he was building a family of his own. With very limited resources, the only choices Danny had was to either live with his parents or live in a small shack that had holes on the roof. He opted to become independent, and temporarily live in the shack with his family. Things were becoming hopeless for him until a friend told him to try registering for Onlinejobs.ph. And the rest is history.

Working Abroad

Working abroad is a typical option for Filipinos who either can’t find employment in the country, or are looking for higher income. As of 2016, the total number of registered Overseas Filipino Workers or OFW’s was estimated at 2.2 Million.

These Filipinos earn wages that are typically higher than what they would earn in the Philippines, however, they cannot afford to bring their family along with them. They are usually living in dormitories, or their employer’s homes, reluctantly away from their families.

For many Filipinos, the price to pay for higher than normal wages is being away from their families.

OnlineJobs.ph as a Solution

The best thing about this story is that we didn’t find Danny. He came to us, wanting to share his story. He wanted people to know about his struggle, and how his skills have given him success in his field. He allowed us to enter his home and meet his kids, who he can watch grown up since he worked from home. He introduced the many other Filipinos who used to be janitors, assistants or just jobless, whose lives were vastly improved because he shared what he knew about online jobs.

Filipino Virtual Assistants

Here are some of the people Danny has helped. They are now working as Virtual Assistants on Onlinejobs.ph. Hooray!

He introduced a great solution to the problem of many Filipinos. Instead of being miserable in a job that couldn’t provide, or instead of working abroad, there was a better way.

With Onlinejobs.ph, he was able to:

  • improve on his skills and challenge his limits.
  • work on his passion which is design.
  • improve his life by gaining better income.
  • spend time with his wife and kids, be there for them every time they needed them.
  • afford to build a safe and comfortable home for his family
  • help others who also wanted a better life for themselves.

Danny isn’t just living a life he always dreamed of, he is also making other people’s dreams possible, with the help of Onlinejobs.ph.
