Full Stack WordPress Developer

Are you the kind of person who speaks PHP as fluently as your native language and dreams in JavaScript? We're on the hunt for a Full Stack WordPress Developer whose skills go way beyond picking the perfect plugin or choosing charming themes. We're talking about deep-diving into the nitty-gritty of WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript to make our sites run as smoothly as a hot knife through butter. We need a code wizard who can cast optimization spells, making our WordPress sites load at the speed of light (or at least as fast as humanly possible). If you love cleaning up code more than a cat loves chasing laser pointers and understand the inner workings of WordPress like the back of your hand, then keep reading.

As an expanding marketing agency based in North America with over six years in the business, we're now looking for a part-time Full Stack WordPress Developer, capable of contributing 12 hours per week to our team's growth.


**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Optimizing website performance, speed, and security by cleaning up code, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices
- Designing, developing, and customizing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements
- Handling both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration between the two
- Implementing responsive and cross-browser compatible designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end
- Developing custom back-end functionality using PHP, working with databases, APIs, and WordPress core
- Ensuring high performance, availability, and managing all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS
- Staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends, WordPress updates, and industry best practices
- Conducting website performance tests, debugging, and resolving technical issues promptly

**Requirements:**

Should be fluent with the design concepts using the latest WordPress and well versed with the best practices in the development, testing & deployment phases.

- Must be an expert in WordPress and web design.
- Must be able to code themes from scratch
- Must be very familiar with WordPress speed load optimization. (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Must have attention to detail
- Knowledge of Genesis and/or Kadence Framework for WordPress would be nice
- Strong experience with PHP,MySQL, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and Responsive design, etc.
- Experience creating and modifying WordPress themes, Gutenburg block editor, Elementor, plugins

Our part-time Full Stack WordPress Developer position is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to supplement their income, ideally fitting around your existing job commitments like the missing piece of a puzzle.


**Working Hours:**

Ideally, we would like the Wordpress Developer to work Monday to Thursday, 9 PM to 12 AM Manila time zone.
